A. Target Website URLs
When you submit a URL for analysis, that address is processed in real-time to discover publicly accessible DOM assets (images, SVGs, stylesheets, fonts). We do not correlate submitted URLs with your personal identity.
B. Browser Extension Data
The Xtract Assets browser extension operates locally on the client within your active browser tab. It only scans the active webpage document for public media links. It does not access your form inputs, passwords, authentication tokens, cookies, or history.
C. Analytics & Metrics
We use Google Analytics (gtag.js) to monitor anonymous, aggregated metrics (such as page views, general device category, and referral sources) to ensure service reliability, troubleshoot errors, and optimize download performance.
D. Local Storage Preferences
Your theme preference (dark mode vs. light mode) is saved solely on your local device in browser localStorage.
3. What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not require account creation, logins, or passwords.
- We do not record credit cards, payment details, or personal addresses.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade user data or usage logs to advertising brokers.
- We do not harvest authenticated session states or private user cookies from inspected websites.
4. Data Retention & Transient Processing
Website asset inspection is an on-demand, transient operation. Asset previews and metadata are parsed in-memory or loaded directly from origin servers. We do not maintain a permanent database of third-party imagery or media content on our servers.
5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Xtract Assets does not use marketing or advertising tracking cookies.
Google Analytics cookies are used strictly for operational telemetry. You may block cookies or analytics scripts using ad-blockers, browser settings, or Do Not Track (DNT) headers without impacting your ability to use the service.

All web traffic to and from Xtract Assets is encrypted in transit using standard HTTPS / TLS protocols to ensure secure communication.
